The insurance company Aviva is recruiting for staff for their new motor claims centre based at Broadland Business Park. Apprenticeships will also be available, with more details to follow.
The roles will involve taking and handling motor claims from personal and commercial customers, taking ownership of the whole claims procedure. Salary will be in the range of £15,500 – £25,500pa depending on skills, experience and qualifications, for a 35-hour, 5-day week. Varying shift patterns will be worked, covering 8am – 8pm (Monday – Sunday). These are full-time, permanent positions.
There is a 8-week training plan as part of the induction. Communication and behavioural skills are most important; good standard of maths and English is also a positive.
The recruitment process will be as follows:
Candidates will apply via the link on the Aviva Careers Website and they will complete the general application form and an online questionnaire.
This will be reviewed within 24 hours and if suitable a short telephone interview will be arranged with a hiring manager.
If the candidate is successful at this point they will be progressed to an assessment session which will consist of:
1 x Observation Test (Candidates will sit with a live claims handler for an hour and then be asked questions on this)
1 x Behavioural interview with the hiring managers which should last around 30-45 minutes.
Candidates should learn if they are successful or not within 24 hours.
