From Mr Brown, Head of Music

Welcome to the Hellesdon High School Music Department pages. Click on the links on the right to have a look at some of the great things we are doing in music. I reckon there will be something of interest to everyone, whatever your taste in music.

We run lots of music clubs: why not join one of these? If your style of music is not currently performed in school just ask Mr Brown and we’ll see if there's something we can do.

 

The Teachers

In the Music Department we have two main subject teachers and nine instrumental teachers.

Mr Brown (above) is the Head of Music and has been at Hellesdon High since 2006. He used to be a musician in the Army and has a lot of performance experience.

Mr Shippey (left) has been teaching Music at Hellesdon since 2006.

His main instrument is the church organ and he performs recitals across Europe every year. Impressive, eh?
