HHS PTA update

The Giving Machine

Using the Giving Machine is a great way to shop online.  It shows all the current offers for the big retailers, without you needing to ‘google’ or trawl through loads of  discount voucher sites, many of which no longer trade. Go on – give it a go, it’s so easy… and great knowing that the School is getting money towards many essential things that it needs.

Please visit www.thegivingmachine.co.uk and type Hellesdon High School in the box saying ‘Find a school or charity to support’. Then put in your details.

When you want to buy something online (including train/plane tickets, hotels – even pet insurance!) you can go through the Giving Machine website rather than straight to the retailer, who will give a donation to HHS each time.

From September we plan to offer sale of good quality second hand uniform. If you have any unwanted uniform please get in touch at pta@hellesdonhigh.norfolk.sch.uk

As soon as we’ve sorted out the storage challenge, we’ll confirm when and how you can buy this uniform from us. Please check the school website or follow us on twitter, where we will tweet about PTA events, school news and other things of interest in our local community.

Tombola prizes

We will be holding 2 large tombolas later this year. If you have any suitable items, unwanted gifts, etc that you could donate, please bring them into school. You can hand them into Student Reception, or bring them in whenever you come in for a parents evening etc. Thank you!

And thank you to everyone who is supporting the PTA in one way or another. Please contact us if you have any suggestions or comments about things you would like us to do in school – for parents, students, or the local community.
