Preventing Infection

Winter is often the time when people get tummy bugs and flu. They spread easily but it is really easy to stop them. Go to www.norfolk.nhs.uk/germbusters  to find out how.

  • Wash your hands after using the toilet and before handling food. You just need hot, soapy water.
  • Germs live on doorknobs and household surfaces. Keep them clean.

If a child has a tummy bug or the flu, we ask parents/carers not to return the child to school until 48 hours after they were last sick or had diarrhoea. We do understand how difficult this can be for families, but a child who is still infectious might well have caught the illness from someone who was sent back to school too soon.

Conservatree bauble competition

In December, our Lunchtime Supervisors Mrs Mitton and Mrs Berry ran a Christmas tree decoration competition for students.

Well done to all who took part, and especially to Phoebe Cook (Year 7) whose design took first place, and to runner-up Danielle Forder (Year 8).

Mrs Mitton and Mrs Berry from The Conservatory would like to thank everyone for their hard work in designing some amazing baubles.
