You can read the minutes of this meeting here. Please see the Consultation page for information on how to make sure your own views on this potential development are taken into consideration, before the consultation process comes to an end on 10 June 2011.

U14 Basketball: Hellesdon Angels

Well done, Hellesdon Angels!

The U14 Angels and Coach J. Yardy

League Final vs Framingham Earl, 19 May

The final proved to be our toughest game yet! Fram have a very strong, experienced team and we knew we’d have to play our hardest to compete with them. So… we did! We played brilliantly. Every player put her heart and soul into it, and played better than ever before.

We put up a really tough defence, and strong attacking play, scoring some excellent baskets. At half time the score was 14-14.

The score stayed pretty tight until the last 5 minutes, when Fram pulled away and we had a few key players in foul trouble. The final score was 22-33 to Fram, but we battled hard right ’til the end.

Congratulations, Angels! You’ve trained hard and become a very strong team indeed. It’s always a pleasure to coach you because of your positive approach and commitment. It’s been a great season.

Next season we will be even better!

Hellesdon Angels rocket into final

U14 Girls’ Basketball

We played Wymondham in the League semi-final on 11 May. We were brilliant! It was a very convincing 62-8 win! Rio was Angel of the Match because she played like a demon, but it was a great team effort, and everyone played well.

Thanks to everyone who supported us: mums and dads, pupils, staff (including a very loud Mr Newsome who is our biggest, loudest fan!). The final is on 19 May (3.30 tip-off), against Framingham Earl, who are  formidable opposition: a very experienced team with some very strong players. It will be our toughest game yet. But we will be ready! Come on Angels! All support welcome!

J Yardy, Coach
