Many congratulations to our Year 13 students who, on the 15th of August, will have received their A-Level and BTEC Level 3 results.
It was wonderful to see so many of our students coming in to school to collect their results and to celebrate with their friends, teachers and family members. Many will have found out earlier in the morning whether they had been accepted to the university of their choice, but there were still some pleasantly surprised faces, as students opened their envelopes to discover their individual grades.
Jamie Bartram (photographed below) was a little more than surprised when she found out that she had achieved an A* in Photography.
Mr Rolfe, School Principal, says “The results truly reflect all the hard work and dedication that the students have put in and the fantastic academic and pastoral support that they have received over the last two years. From all the staff at Hellesdon High, we wish them well for the future, be it at University, apprenticeships or the world of work.”
Mr Taylor, Director of Sixth Form, also congratulates our students, saying “their hard work has really paid dividends, with the vast majority of students getting in to their first choice university. There were some real standout performances with a number of students getting A*/A across the board – a fantastic achievement!”
Finally, the CEO of the Wensum Trust Mr Batty also adds his congratulations on behalf of all the Trustees saying “another strong A-Level performance from the students and staff at Hellesdon High. We wish all the students every success as they move onwards.”
