About Us
The DT Department at Hellesdon High is well equipped and has a proven record of success.
The department is split into two areas - Food / Textiles
And
Core Technology, consisting of Resistant Materials, BTEC Engineering, BTEC Construction, Graphic Products and Product Design.
All areas use a common mark scheme at Key Stage 3, which is available by clicking on the Download button to the right.
At Key Stage 4 (GCSE) we use the OCR exam board for Food and Textiles, and AQA for Graphics, Resistant Materials and Electronics. The mark schemes and an example project outline are also available from the download page.
In addition, we offer two Level 2 BTECs through EdExcel - Engineering & Construction
